Shared assets often get abused or lost. The Shed is designed to create Custodianship.
Check-in / Check-out
When you book an item, you become its Custodian. If it breaks during your slot, you are responsible for flagging it as "Maintenance".
Maintenance Mode
If a tool is broken, mark it as "Maintenance" immediately via the item detail view. This prevents others from booking it and sends a notification to the Sanctuary Admins to arrange repairs.
