These Sanctuaries pay above the Village sticker price so ARA can stay small, patient, and aligned with the communities it serves. They get nothing extra in the software; they choose this because they can, and because they want other communities to have access when they can't.

If your Sanctuary can afford more than Village sticker price and you want that to count for something visible, the Sustainer tier is for you. Your name (or Sanctuary name) goes here, and stays here as long as you back ARA.

Why we built this wall

ARA has tiers, like any SaaS: Village unlocks the core toolkit, Hamlet adds federation, Ecosystem adds network coordination tools. That's fair software pricing. The Sustainer tier is a different kind of optional layer on top — a way for communities with means to voluntarily pay above Village sticker so we can keep running, keep shipping, and keep our Community Access Fund open for non-profits at 50% off.

It's modelled on how public radio, Mozilla, and a handful of co-operatives work. Same product for everyone. The Patrons pay more so that the grant recipients can pay less.

You pay €49, €79, €99 per month, or a custom amount. You get the full Village feature set (no secret extra perks — the software is the software). Your Sanctuary is listed here. That's it.
