If the cookie banner keeps showing up even though you've already chosen "Accept All" or "Only Necessary", one of three things is happening.
1. The 12-month re-prompt (most common)
GDPR best practice (and our policy) is to re-confirm consent every 12 months, even if you've already chosen. This is intentional: your relationship with privacy changes over time, so we ask again. Just make your choice and you won't see the banner again for another year.
2. New device or browser
Consent is stored locally per browser (in localStorage). If you log in from a new laptop, phone, or browser, you'll see the banner there too. Each device is a separate consent.
3. The privacy policy was updated
If we change the policy in a meaningful way (new subprocessor, new data category), we set a new version number. The banner re-appears so you can re-consent under the new terms. The current version is shown in your consent record.
To change your preferences without waiting
Settings > Account & Privacy > Manage Cookie Preferences. Or click Cookie Preferences at the very bottom of any public page (footer). Either re-opens the banner so you can change analytics or error-tracking on the spot.
To opt out completely
Click "Only Necessary". This persists. Analytics never load. Error tracking never loads. You'll only see the banner again at the 12-month mark or on a policy update.
