ARA has two distinct views for tasks (Seeds). Knowing the difference helps keep the community organized without cluttering your personal mind-space.
My Patch (Personal)
My Patch is your private dashboard. It aggregates every Seed assigned to you from across the entire Sanctuary.
- It shows tasks from Gardens where you are a member.
- It shows personal tasks you created just for yourself (that don't belong to any Garden).
- It shows Rhythm tasks (chores) currently assigned to you.
Use My Patch to answer: "What do I need to do today?"
The Gardens (Communal)
Gardens are shared project spaces (e.g., "Vegetable Plot", "Legal Committee", "Winter Festival").
- Tasks here are visible to all members of that Garden.
- Used for planning, delegating, and seeing the "big picture" of a project.
Use Gardens to answer: "How is this project progressing?"
