Sanctuaries outlive their founders. When it is time to step down, you can transfer the "Owner" root privileges to another member.
Warning: This action is irreversible. Once you transfer ownership, you lose the ability to manage billing or delete the sanctuary.
Steps to Transfer
- Ensure the new owner is already a member of the sanctuary.
- Go to Settings > Backstage (Angel/Admin area).
- Scroll to "Emergency Stewardship".
- Select the new owner from the dropdown and click "Transfer Ownership".
We recommend doing this during a live handover meeting to ensure the new owner has access immediately.
