While "Admin" and "Villager" are global roles, ARA allows for granular permission control at the Garden and Scroll level. This prevents too many cooks in the kitchen.

The Three Garden Roles

  1. Architect (Owner/Lead):
    • Can delete the Garden.
    • Can change the Phase (e.g., move to Harvest).
    • Can add/remove other members from the Garden circle.
    • Best for: Project Leads, Committee Chairs.
  2. Caretaker (Editor):
    • Can plant Seeds (create tasks).
    • Can complete tasks and upload files.
    • Cannot delete the Garden or change its Phase.
    • Best for: Active contributors and workers.
  3. Observer (Viewer):
    • Can view all tasks and progress.
    • Cannot edit, complete, or delete anything.
    • Best for: New members learning the ropes, or stakeholders who need visibility without operational access.

Pro Tip: You can set a Scroll (document) to "Private" and then invite specific Observers. This is useful for sensitive documents like HR reviews or gate codes.
