The Art of the Rhythm: Automating Chores

The #1 cause of conflict in shared living is chores. The "mental load" of remembering whose turn it is usually falls on one person, creating resentment.

How Rhythms Work

ARA's Rhythm engine automates this friction. You define:

1. The Task (e.g., "Clean Kitchen")
2. The Frequency (e.g., "Weekly")
3. The Rotation Order (List of members)

Every cycle, the system automatically Plants a Seed (creates a task) assigned to the next person in line. It notifies them, tracks their completion, and if they miss it, the system marks it overdue—not you.

Handling Vacations

If someone goes on vacation, you can temporarily remove them from the rotation order in the Rhythm settings. The wheel will simply skip them and assign the task to the next person, preserving the order.
